Yes, it’s yet again another year older for the durian city. On March 16, Davao City will celebrate its 74th founding anniversary. We only have a three-day celebration this year as the city government imposes some austere measures to cut-cost to allocate the budget to other worthwhile projects of the city.
Be it two, three – a week long, thing is, I never had gone to the streets when it’s Araw ng Dabaw, I sleep, lol. Should the gods be showering lotssa moolah on the streets on this day, ‘walang nakukuha yung natutulog sa pancitan’ .. I go out on Kadayawan Fiesta instead, love to see those flower floats than those ‘Mutya’ ek, ek!
Anyway, you might have a different view that I do and want to check out what’s going on around town, here’s the schedule!
