Yes ate, nasa pagitan kami ng Ohio and Pennsylvania so we're lucky to be bordering both when we want to visit other state hehehe.. River lang talaga ang nagdidivide ng WV and Ohio.. Mwah, Magzzzz na ako.. bukas na ako bloghop..
I was a relief teacher before I went to canada, The school I taught was in a swampy area, so i think they made ponds. There were a lot of water lilies growing.
During the annual cleaning, they principal told the kids to get water from the pond. I thought he was so stingy. The water was quite clean, and the student said it was faster getting from the pond than wait for the tap to fill the bucket up.
When there was a fish, there was a lot of excitement.
That was 1974. I never thought of this until I saw your photo of the man made pond.
We should put our hope in God who is always faithful and who never leaves us. He does not only give us hope but an assurance that even if the consequences do not change, we conquer them. "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me."
