DAVAO CITY’S PUBLIC SAFETY COMMAND CENTER

This is the corner fence of the nerve center of Davao City’s whooping P704-million Traffic Signalization Project. It is said that amongst the cities in the Philippines, Davao City has the most advanced and state-of-the-art Traffic Monitoring Center as it is patterned after the ones in Los Angeles, CA.
It has 17 CCTV cameras installed in the 16 main thoroughfares of the city with 35x zoom capabilities which provide clear visuals even in low-light conditions, like this one.

Dang! Since this camera (the ones on the first post) was placed here a year ago I’ve been crazy keen with colors above my head. Truth is, queuing at the LTO office can be another hardest day in my life.

Excellent shadow shots, Vernz. I especially like the first one, the shadow of the pompous name of the place. I love it. Made me laugh and laugh. Thanks!

go visit davao to appreciate the cost-effective system! don't criticize if you havn't been there! it's better than metro manila... that's why, Davao City is the 87th fastest growing city in the world... where is metro manila? or your city perhaps? see you there!
