After the hues that pervaded my being these past few days, finally I am seeing a yellow light at the end of the tunnel. It might just be a ‘band-aid’ answer but at least I’m beginning to glimpse a promise of positive tomorrow.
In this world where everybody wants to be heard, chances are nobody cares to listen and for a weary and struggling soul you just opt to settle in silence. Society tells us to be assertive, but sometimes the body is willing but the spirit is weak.
And to learn to get in touch with the silence within ourselves and know that everything in this life has a purpose is I think the best piece of work humans can do.
And from that silence draw optimism, enlightenment, spark creative thoughts, draw in positive mind-set that generates energy which is also the significance of yellow color.
SILENCE IS NOT MERELY AN ABSENCE OF NOISE, REAL SILENCE BEGINS WHEN A REASONABLE BEING WITHDRAWS FROM THE NOISE IN ORDER TO FIND PEACE AND ORDER IN THEIR INNER SANCTUARY. - Peter Minard
Yellow shines with optimism, enlightenment, and happiness. It is also mentally stimulating, it activates our memory, quicken our nervous system and it encourages communication.
Like the energy of a bright sunny day, yellow brings clearness and awareness. Put some yellow in your life when you want clarity for decision-making, relief from 'burnout', panic, nervousness, exhaustion, put on something yellow for sharper memory and concentration skills and this color can also be an effective protection from lethargy and depression during dull weather and gray moods.
According to research Yellow color creates a warming effect, arouses cheerfulness, stimulates mental activity, and generates muscle energy. Pure bright yellow is an attention getter, which is why taxicabs are painted in yellow.
Men usually perceive yellow as a jokey, childish color, so it is not recommended to use yellow when selling expensive and posh products to men – no men will buy a yellow business suit or a yellow car or anything (This is according to my reads, some men can contest). Yellow is an unstable and spontaneous color, so avoid using yellow if you want to suggest stability and safety.
When overused, yellow also may have a disturbing effect; it is known that babies cry more in yellow rooms so it is not recommended to paint nursery rooms with yellow.
To sum it all this color is what represent my day today! See you again for tomorrow’s color.
