THE MANY SHAPES OF THE MOON

When I got out of my classroom the other night, I was awed to see this moon smiling back at me. So I waited till all my students has gone down and sit at the ledge of the hallway and try to focus to get the best smile.

This is how shaky my hands has been, errr… estoryaheeee… I’m just wishing to get a decent camera to get this moon the best shot. Sigh! Anyway, I had fun with these weird shapes though.

I love the smile in the last one, but the first two are fascinating. I can't even begin to imagine how you got them like that.
I have a new camera, and I'm only learning a little bit every day, but I'm sure when my husband has time to help me, it will be easier. Then maybe I can do some fun things like this!!

I love your shots and I do exactly the same thing when I can see the moon here and only a few times have I been able to get a shot worth posting. Well, that's ok, we have fun, don't we, Vernz? Hope you have a great weekend!

It is difficult to get good shots of the moon but I think you did well for the moon is smiling to you!

I have tried taking pictures of full moon sometimes.I have never been able captured its real beauty!!! It amazes me how some of fellow skywatchers take awesome pictures of the moon.. I think the trick is to use a tripod!! Have a nice weekend!!
