Weeeh, I’m back to the virtual world, after several days of plying this route everyday I’m back to my swivel again, though I blog without obligation, except for opp deadlines, I feel so left out leaving this blog unupdated, geez, why the guilt!
Anyway, this is one of my drive-by photos, my son said ‘mom, it looks like an atomic bomb has exploded at the end of this road, should we go on?’, gosh, had it been true, I actually don’t know what to do. ;(.
Thanks for dropping by.

Wow, it's a great photo, Vernz. I can see why he thought it might be a bomb.
ReplyDeleteIn the 1980s, my youngest brother was a teenager. While he was staying with me, we watched a movie called "The Day After" about atomic bombs dropping.
We lived on the coast of British Columbia. After the movie, he asked me, "What would you do if you knew the bomb would be hitting Vancouver in one hour?"
I said, "I'd grab you, throw you into the car, and head for the Rocky Mountains."
"But you couldn't make it. The roads would be packed," he replied.
"I know," I said, "but I would absolutely have to try, because the strongest instinct in a woman is 'save the kid'." And I meant it. If I were alone and heard the bomb would drop, I'd stay by myself and pray, but if a child or young person were with me, I would have to try.
I'm positive that's what you would have done for your son, too. It is an instinctive reaction to try to save a child.
