Confirmation at San Antonio Parish

Last week, my eldest son was confirmed as an adult member of the Catholic Church, the Confirmation Rights was held at the newly renovated San Antonio de Padua Parish Church in Agdao, Davao City. He had his aunt as his sponsor and we parents were just witness and phototakers at the side.

Confirmation is one of the seven sacraments through which Catholics pass in the process of their religious upbringing. According to Catholic doctrine, in this sacrament they receive the Holy Spirit and become adult members of the Catholic Church. (wikipedia)

It is a loving and moving ceremony, isn't it? I'm sure you are very proud of your son at this time.
We have something similar in my church, although it is not Roman Catholic.
