ON SELF-PRESCRIPTION

I’m still feeling dizzy after several days of drowsing over high fever brought about by a throat infection, I thought I gotten rid of it after several days of taking in anti-biotic but it ripped me off when it vaulted back, such a tough bacteria.

It’s been days I’m out of blogging circulation, blogging really is addicting, it has gotten into my nerve so fast, that missing a day makes me feel agitated. Anyway, more than thinking positively that I won’t go far with this infection are the medications that I diligently keep to. For a time I’ve been self-medicating, since I knew it would be the same medicine the doctor would be prescribing should I go for consultation.

While it is not encouraged to self medicate, there are actually medicines available that need no prescription anymore, tramadol no prior prescription - tramadolnopriorprescription.com can be accessed without prior prescription.

If you have a busy lifestyle and find it hard to insert a doctor’s schedule yet you are suffering from pains, then no prior prescription tramadol - nopriorprescriptiontramadol.com is your best option. It’s a good pain management medicine that truly delivers result.
Tramadol no prior prescription needed - tramadolnopriorprescriptionneeded.com is the best option of those people with lifestyle that is always on the go. So worry no more about adverse effects of self-medication, this remedy gives you that liberty to do it for yourself.

At this point I’m thanking my friend doctor who nagged at me often whenever I self prescribed but I often end up spending more.

I think I’ve slowly gotten into my senses now; I’m gaining fast interest to write again.

CREMATION JEWELRY - A UNIQUE WAY TO BE REMEMBERED

Death of a loved one is I think one of the most painful experiences a person could through in life. At one point you prefer to die also rather than confront the idea that the person who meant so much to you has gone somewhere and will never return until you die also yourself.

But if we believe in life and we know that somewhere in this journey someone really has to depart,  then we can use this experience to live a life more meaningful, pick lessons from it and move forward on our evolutionary path.

And when everything has been healed by time, what we can do is to remember them by offering flowers at their graves. But today’s life requires much of us, we even barely have time for ourselves, but thanks to the people who have thought about keeping our loved ones remembered by putting their ash on a jewelry.

HAVING GOOSEBUMPS

This fella was exhibited during the bird show back in September.

If there’s one fear that I should be working on to conquer in my life, that is to hold this fella like what this woman is doing. I remember the then show of Ryan Agoncillo Fear Factor, when this aspirant of theirs was left swimming in the pool full of live snakes, forgive my manners, but really wasn’t able to control myself, I really have thrown up, feeling wasted after. Sigh! Indeed, seems like I needed some hard work on this one.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by.

TRY TO REMEMBER THE KIND OF SEPTEMBER

Photobucket
I was supposed to just let this week pass by missing nostalgia post. I can’t move my butt out of my swivel; I’m dumped with piles of papers that needed to be reviewed. Coincidentally, I was listening to this jazz radio station on my home and this music really caught me. I can’t remember anymore when was the last time I heard this, thanks to Lady Gaga and the gang at home.

It would often took me sometime to remember things, but hearing this it brought back memories of my first piano teacher before so fast. This was the first piano piece I learned back in HS when my mom pushed me to tickle those piano ivories under duress. LOL..

Unfortunately, I can’t play them now. I’m back to square one… hahaha…

It’s nice to live by the meaning of this song; unfortunately the kind of September now is far from mellow. Right?

Listen!

SMELLING LIKE SUSHI

So you want to be playful with your scent? Why not wear something non-conventional. Why not try smelling like a newly opened crayon box, why not try smelling like a freshly opened bubble gum packet? Or why not smell like a play-dough.

Demeter Fragrance Library has all the good-humored scents you never have imagined. I’m talking sense here, if you want to leave a unique trace that everybody will be talking about, I suggest you start picking your distinct scent now.

I wonder how my friends have to say me smelling like sushi.

TRYING ONE’S LUCK ONLINE

Sigh! Life really sucks big time sometimes, at some point it will pull you down to the very end of your patience. What is more piteous is when you’re down to the last bill in your wallet that’s why you can’t help it but think of something to get the quickest way out.

Who hasn’t taken their chances on lottery, admit it or not this is by far, when in luck, the quickest way to get out of money problem, if you’re quiet clever and have the skills then you can try online gambling for added thrill and fun, who knows your luck is just a spin of a Roulette away.

I’m getting impatient; I should check one online now. Thanks everyone for dropping by.

THE WEEKEND THAT WAS

Feeling like been away for light years in just a 2-day absent from the blogging world. Went to act a daughter role on weekend, I needed to go with my mother to cease some unfinished business. Unfortunately, it turned out another unfinished one…

My burritos had their barber session, they love their hair done at Rocky’s Barber Shop, candies are free + free tractor ride. LOL.

Goofing around Yogo Yogurt shop after the clipping session. They love this delight, how can this sour-sweet thing be so expensive, can’t do anything but pay in sour-sweet expression.

The weekend that was, thanks everyone for always taking time to drop by.

BENEFITS OF MASSAGE

I can’t think of any other way to rejuvenate the body from too much stress other than doing massage therapy, for quiet sometime now, we have been enjoying the soft touches of our family masseur who comes to our house every weekend to do massage to both my husband and me. She’s like a Thumper Mini that works all those painful muscles away.

But what are the benefits we can get out of this therapy?

Experts say that the basic goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself and to boost health and well-being.

When our muscles are overworked, say we did too much physical activity, waste product such as lactic acid can accumulate in the muscle, causing it to sore and stiff, and even can cause muscle spasm, and the best way to eliminate this waste product is to apply pressure to these points to normalize them and improves circulation, which increases blood flow, bringing fresh oxygen to body tissues. Massage therapy can assist in the elimination of waste products; it speeds up healing after injury, and encourages fast recovery from disease.

But often, time element is a factor, we can’t find time to drop by a massage parlor or it’s hard to find someone you’re comfortable with who would do this personally, that is why technology has stepped-up to extend help to those who wished to still benefit from this therapy without the hassle of driving around finding good hands. Thumper Mini Pro 2 Massager is a great option to personal masseur, it still work same science and art as the hands, in fact, I would suppose its better since you just have to turn it on and off and its available right at your own disposal.

Thumper Mini Pro is a great DIY gadget that works best for your weary body. Try one today.

LARAWANG KUPAS

PhotobucketNyahahaha!

I called off my class, but I can’t afford to miss Nostalgia today, waaaaaaahhh!

I was digging hard on my notes last week, I wasn’t able to post. But here’s my share for this week’s nostalgia.

This photo is dated March 14, 1974, I was two years old then, I can’t recall anymore what transpired during this photo opp, but truly have missed my mother’s siblings. The little girl here is yours truly and standing behind me is my mom. The rest were my mom’s bro and sis, the lady with eyeglasses passed away many years ago.

It was my mom who got married first, thus we enjoyed all our uncles and aunties time and material gifts. These folks have their own grandchildren now and they’re scattered all over the Phils. Lol. True, one in Luzon, two in Visayas and the rest here in Mindanao. The last time I saw them all was during the wake of my grandfather 8 years ago. Sigh!

That’s life … Thanks everyone for dropping by on this side of town. Join us next Thursday for another round of nostalgic marveling hosted by Rose mouse on the blue badge above.

CHINESE DRYWALL PROBLEMS

This is not the first time that I have been hearing a lot of terrible stories about products coming from China, not long ago, candies, canned goods, toys, milk manufactured in China has been recalled due to defected, high levels of toxins that were incorporated in the goods making it very dangerous to human consumption and health.

But this is the first time that I have read about toxic Chinese drywalls that has penetrated the American market that least people living in that country knew, they had used it for making or renovating their homes. Drywalls are construction materials that are composed of gypsum sandwiched between two pieces of heavy paper, used mainly for interior walls and ceilings. What is alarming is that these materials contain toxic materials that are harmful to humans.

According to experts these are the warning signs that your homes were built and made with Chinese drywalls.
  • They were built or remodeled between 2001 and 2008
  • They have a sulfur or rotten-egg smell, particularly when windows and doors are shut
  • Residents suffer allergies, nose bleeds, upper-respiratory problems and other symptoms that disappear when they leave the homes for an extended time
  • Air conditioning units have repeated coil corrosion
  • The copper in the home, from the electrical ground wires to the copper coils that are in the air conditioning, turn black
If you happen to detect all these warning signs and has suffered and wanted to find solution to this Chinese drywall problem, be sure to contact Chinese drywall lawyer. Someone has to take accountability for the irresponsible distribution of these toxic goods.

AUTUMN IN DAVAO

…akala nyo ha kayo lang sa dyan sa ‘higher latitudes’ kung baga ang me autumn….. hmmmmm… yan ang akala nyo…… meron din kami sa Davao… lol.

It was a national holiday yesterday, in honor of the ‘month of sacrifice’ of our Muslim brothers and sisters; we went out to meet a friend in Shrine Hills, on our way home the kids insisted on dropping by the Sto. Nino Shrine to lit candles.

Out of the blue, the eldest said, ‘so you just thought those guys living in the higher latitudes only experience autumn, huh!’ Look at that …. Ok son, I can’t exactly  agree I have no sense of comparison I have not experienced what it’s like on autumn. He replied and said, ‘its ok mom, looks like autumn is a sad feeling, the trees are dying.’

My readings suggested it so son,… indeed our surroundings affect of our behavior. So there, nothing much happened on this side of town.

THE GRANDFATHER’S CLOCK

Just some flashbacks while scribbling on this post, I remember when I was a kid, I used to tag along with my grandmother in a convent in San Juan, Siquijor then. Just under this grand staircase of the convent was a black grandfather’s clock. I recalled I used to cry every time it struck 6 in the afternoon. It was because I was scared with the tone of the clock; I deem it so spooky that’s why.

I can’t remember anymore how did I resolve that fear of mine, but every time I see a grandfather’s clock, the very picture that will pop out of my mind was that convent in Siquijor, I’m not sure if that clock survived until this very day, but it turned out that I transformed those fears into fascination.

I only owned a wall clock and a table clock so far in my lifetime, but given a chance, if pockets warrant, I would want to own howard miller clocks. We often thought of grand fathers’ clock in rich and stern antique concept, designers might have thought about me, someone who likes this type of clocks but somehow wanted a sleek, modern yet still resembles that European touch.

Then this design is for us, pretty.

OF PERFECT MATCH AND CARLESS ROADS – THANKS TO MANNY!

I was a totally wasted human on weekend, a big truck hit our telephone wire how can I used all my energy arguing with a damn truck driver who refused even to acknowledge it was his fault… geezzz…. That thing meant, I should go somewhere else to check my mails ….

I was supposed to do my journal, but another wasted cousin of mine came and watched the whole series of this Korean Drama Perfect Match, I swear the male actor is so gwapo, I mean Lee Min Ho, popularly known as Jun Pyo … haisst.. we started 8 in the morning and ended up 3 in the morning .. I woke up totally dizzy, went to do my grocery, thank God, Pacquiao had a fight, all roads went carless … great spots for parking were totally mine.. hahaha.. Thanks oma … for adopting all my kiddos on weekend…
So there, some wasted weekend on this side of town.

CABINET REFACING FOR THE SAN FRANCISCO REGION

Remodeling in San Francisco is never an easy thing to do but everyone is feeling the pressure to get it done before the holiday season hits. Well there are some things you can do to speed up the process, keep the cost down, and get you great results in a short amount of time. First you want to focus on some of the major parts of the house, mainly the kitchen and bathrooms.

San Francisco cabinet refacing is a great way to give your bathroom and kitchen a great new look without having to install new cabinets. New cabinets are great but they can be very expensive and take a while to install, not to mention you have to take the old ones out which can be costly and time consuming as well. So if you just get them refaced, you will still have that new feeling with a lot less taken out of your wallet.

San Francisco cabinets are great and they can impact the entire way your home looks during the holidays. The more cabinet space you have, the more room you have to store things from around the house which gets rid of clutter. Especially in the bathrooms and kitchens, the more cabinet space you have allows you to make those rooms look cleaner and more organized which makes your remodeling tasks easier, faster, and much cheaper. Follow these simple methods and it will make your remodeling time shorter and cheaper, and your holiday season much more enjoyable which we all know is what we really want.

MOM, WHAT IS LIFE INSURANCE?

…. A question my daughter thrown to me while piling her clothes on the closet. Why do you ask? It’s here in our book, I just want to know.

Well, life insurance is just a piece of paper that I buy from an insurance company, that when I die it will give you peace of mind. What? That is how important that piece of paper is? Actually, when someone Buy Life Insurance, it’s just a piece of paper that represents the benefits you will be getting just in case something uncalled for happens to me.

It represents an amount of money that it may not be enough till your lifetime, but at least it can be of help to your financial needs.

Ahh, really, so mom, how much will I be getting in case you will die? You bad egg, nothing! Ahh, talking to a six-year old can sometimes be stressful. Well, I might have gotten the meaning across and she understood it since she reacted that way.

THE MANY SHAPES OF THE MOON

When I got out of my classroom the other night, I was awed to see this moon smiling back at me. So I waited till all my students has gone down and sit at the ledge of the hallway and try to focus to get the best smile.

This is how shaky my hands has been, errr… estoryaheeee… I’m just wishing to get a decent camera to get this moon the best shot. Sigh! Anyway, I had fun with these weird shapes though.

COMPARE WEBHOSTING REVIEWS

I swear, blogging was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done with my supposed to be wasted time. In the beginning and for quiet a time I was struggling with understanding the logic of blogging, even until today for some, but I slowly have been accustomed to it.

For most moms who are still at the starting point of blogging, take it from me, it is best to get a domain of your own just before you start burning your butt out posting and campaigning around for link building and backlinking.

This has been my dilemma, had I known it in the very beginning that having a domain of your own is most beneficial, then I could have done it at the very start.

Don’t make the same mistakes as I did, if you’re in doubt on what best web hosting you’re going to contract to back your blog up, start by searching for webhosting reviews, in this way you can make comparisons on what best web host will give you the least headache that will eventually make blogging a fun and rewarding endeavor.

SECURE YOUR HOMES

In today’s time and space we cannot compromise our homes security anymore. While some of us maybe very busy earning a living away from our homes, there are also some ghastly heads out there that lurks around trying to run off with our valuables left at home.

While it has been a fashion to associate police visibility with security, it’s never the same having an initiative of your own to install home security systems that would lessen your anxieties even if you are away.

Today’s technology help us cope with this concerns, wireless security cameras home can be a very fitting option for watching your home even if you are away.

For working moms whose children are left with the nannies, having this security feature installed in your homes makes you monitor their activities while at work.

Moms out there, it’s not yet late to install home security systems, start drilling holes on walls right now, there are cheap yet reliable, easy to install ones available in the market today.

Wednesday

GONE STUDYING

I’m imposing a qualified discipline on myself right now. Yeah, I think there’s such thing as like that. lol. I have to cut some blogging time just this week, :) I need to finish reading quiet a number of journals for my presentation, and I can’t get myself embarrassed. Toink! And I should do this fine to get a raise. Hahaha!

Though I impose upon myself an unwritten code of blogging without an obligation, I think that won’t work, I should thank you guys for taking time to drop ec and adgitize me.

This is supposed to be my CR time, but some wasted guys down there seems like it’s not yet their time, so I’m typing while waiting for that next pleasurable moment in the bounds of that private room. Geeez, this is supposed to be a wholesome blog, why am I talking, er writing some stinking stuff here……… ahhh! it’s coming need to go…

POOL DIP ON WEEKEND

Nothing much happened on this side of town on weekend; we just brought the children to do some lung exercise at the Garden Oases pool.

Afternoon to evening dip is what we prefer much since the water is not too cold. I didn’t take dip, but before I knew it, I devoured 2 cups of ‘halo-halo’ while waiting for the dragons to get out of the water.

GETTING RICH SELLING WATER

I got to meet this ‘long time no hear’ cousin of mine, apparently he was just treading around the city and not once that our roads has crossed, it was only during the birthday of another cousin of ours that we finally talk.
The last time I saw him was during our college days where I supposed I misjudged him of not making it in life being a happy-go-lucky guy. Seemingly, he has proven me wrong, he has gotten rich via the greatest scam of the modern society, (apologies cousin) putting up a business to bottle spring water and several outlets to purify water, not to mention dealing several lines of water filtration gadgets, carbon, charcoal, Reverse Osmosis Water Filter, Infra Red, water ionizers, and a lot more that he blabbed about. One thing was sure he truly has made it through this business.

Well, meetings like this wouldn’t end-up just like that, everyone got to take home freebies from the host of the night, the family event turned out to be like a corporate event, he handed several portable charcoal water filters.. The sad thing is we don’t use filters in our house, our tap water is already as clean as the filtered ones, and I gave mine to some relatives who need it more.

That's the latest happening on this side of town. Thanks for dropping by.

WHY CARE ABOUT FASHION?

Way back when I was still active with my productive work, I used to tease this officemate of mine for always upbeat, change the color of her nails and hair as often as she change her clothes often glitzy and flamboyant, in fact she’s a frequent of the HR department because of the way she present her look. The term fashionista during that time has not gained popularity yet, that’s why she was often branded a geek rather in style.

I admit I’m also one of those who would bluntly tell her face to change her style fit for working environment. There’s nothing wrong actually with her, she just knew how to dress, she knew that there is power in her fashion statements, she knew by putting on these body add-ons she’s sending message. To her everything about her body is permanent, changing and wearing with the trend is the only thing she can change about her body and her frame of mind.

Today, it’s just amazing, the fashion industry has indeed stepped-up to something that shaped the way we looked at dressing, to something that shaped the economy of virtually any society around the world, fashion industry is a package industry, a dress is never complete without purses, shoes, make-up, beauty implements and etc.

Now, if you’re inkling is towards being an informed fashionista and getting the Winter 2010 Fashion Trends? London Fashion brings you virtually all information you would need about being upbeat and a well-informed fashion enthusiast. From accessories, shoes, purse, beauty tips down to cool underwear, London Fashion have all the information for you.

And if you’re still in a limbo on how to get that perfect holiday look, take a peek at their Christmas Fashion 2010.

NOSTALGIA - CHASING FREEDOM

Some heads need some cooling off after several days of doing some leg work running here and there, not to mention my everyday battle with my M..L’s unbearable face, lol. Haisst …

Nonetheless, I was searching this controversial video Born Free by MIA –the rapper that was banned from Youtube, silly me, how can I find it when it’s removed but stupidity sometimes leads to some things awesome. I instead run on Matt Monroe’s Born Free, it made me remember my father…bulb spark on my head, perfect for today’s Nostalgia at Rose’s blog.

This song made me remember my father, well; who wouldn’t this man was somewhat like a ghost that would haunt you every time you hear him sing every Sunday on local radios. But honest this song was my alarm clock every morning then, my father would sit on the bench just outside my room window and sing this song, during that time, it’s wasn’t a nostalgic tune, but an irritating voice that you know someone was letting you wake-up hitting the road.
Photobucket
Now, it just made me smile remembering those days, but the irony of it all, the face of freedom is obscure; I know I get to touch it, but I can’t reach it … maybe because freedom is an illusion.

Hay naku! xa.. Join us every Thursday by clicking on the badge or see more of nostalgic marveling at Rose’s blog.

THERE GOES MY BLOGGING MONEY

Yeah, I’m suppose to buy only, as in only new sheets, pillow cases and pillows the other night during the ‘til midnight sale’ happening on this side of town, but when we got to Victoria Department Store here, it did not turn out the way I thought it would. This acoustic guitar which we scheduled to buy by December yet, dropped its price tag by 30% and the sales assistant said this is the last of its kind.

My son said, mom I still can live with my old sheets, just this once. I have a soft heart you know …. Lol…so we have it tuned and lined to pay it up. So until next pay-out, ahahaha, Yeah right! I think I still can live with the old sheets too.

We have to buy this manual as he's still a beginner
This gadget awed me, I remember I would call my uncle to tune my brother's guitar before, but this one you just have to clip it on the head and adjust the knot.
